We deploy multiple embroidery techniques to achieve the textural richness that defines premium home textiles. Flat embroidery creates the base design structure. Appliqué layers contrasting fabric pieces under embroidery stitching for color blocking and pattern variation. Cutwork (also called eyelet embroidery) creates open patterns by embroidering a dense border and then precisely cutting away the interior fabric — the technique behind classic broderie anglaise and Madeira embroidery. These techniques can be combined in a single design for extraordinary visual depth that mass-market printing cannot approach.

Thread selection is critical for home textiles. We primarily use viscose (rayon) thread for its exceptional luster — the thread catches and reflects light with a subtle shimmer that polyester cannot match. This is the thread of choice for luxury bedding, wedding textiles, and high-end hospitality linens. For applications requiring maximum durability (hotel towels, restaurant linens), we use polyester thread for its superior bleach resistance. All threads are OEKO-TEX certified and tested for colorfastness to chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, and optical brighteners — the three chemicals most commonly encountered in home and industrial laundry.
